Archive Page Settings

Overview

The Event Taxonomy Archives Settings section allows you to configure how taxonomy archive pages are displayed throughout your Event Builder website. Taxonomy archives help visitors browse events by categories, tags, labels, organizers, locations, speakers, and other supported taxonomies.

These global settings control the appearance, layout, navigation, and display behavior of taxonomy archive pages, providing a consistent browsing experience across your website.

All settings configured here apply globally to taxonomy archive pages unless overridden by a custom Archive Template.

Archive Page Events Layout

Controls how events are displayed on event taxonomy archive pages.

Options: Slider, Grid
Default: Grid

Events Per Page

Sets the number of events displayed per page on taxonomy archive pages.

Range: 1–50
Default: 6

Enable Slider Autoplay

Enables or disables automatic slide transitions when the archive events are displayed using the Slider layout.

Default: Enabled

Autoplay Delay (ms)

Sets the time interval between automatic slider transitions in milliseconds.

Range: 500–15,000 ms
Default: 3,300 ms

Slider Effect

Controls the visual transition effect used when navigating through events in the slider.

Options: Slide, Fade, Cube, Coverflow, Flip
Default: Slide

Pause on Hover

Pauses automatic slider movement when the visitor hovers over the slider.

This setting is available when Slider Autoplay is enabled.

Default: Enabled

Autoplay Direction

Controls the direction in which the archive event slider automatically moves.

Options: Forward, Reverse
Default: Forward

Grid Item Size

Controls the width and height of individual event items when the Grid layout is selected.

Units: px, %

Default: Width 300px, Height auto

Grid Columns

Sets the number of event columns displayed per row in the Grid layout.

Options: 2 Columns, 3 Columns, 4 Columns
Default: 2 Columns

Notes

• These settings apply globally to all Event Builder taxonomy archive pages.
• Individual Archive Templates can override these default settings.
• Taxonomy archives update automatically as events are assigned or removed from categories, tags, labels, organizers, locations, or other supported taxonomies.
• Changes take effect immediately after saving the settings.
