Overview

The Labels section allows you to classify events using custom status indicators or visual badges. Labels are commonly used to highlight special event types, promotions, availability, or important notices that help visitors quickly identify key information.

Unlike Categories and Tags, Labels are designed primarily for visual emphasis and are often displayed as badges on event cards, archive pages, sliders, and single event pages.

• New
• Trending
• Popular

Accessing Labels

Navigate to:

WordPress Dashboard → Zozo Events → Labels

From this screen you can:

• Add new labels
• Edit existing labels
• Delete labels
• Search labels
• View assigned event count
• Copy label shortcode
• Manage event badges

Add New Label

The left panel allows you to create a new event label.

Complete the required information and click Add Label.

Label Name

Enter the label name.

Examples:

• Featured
• VIP
• Free Entry
• Sold Out
• Trending
• Early Bird
• Limited Seats
• New

The label name is displayed as a badge wherever labels are enabled.

Slug

The slug is the SEO-friendly version of the label name.

It is automatically generated but can be customized manually if needed.

Example:

Description

Provide a short description explaining the purpose of the label.

Examples:

• Highlights premium events.
• Indicates events with free admission.
• Marks events with limited ticket availability.
• Displays events that are currently trending.

Descriptions may appear on label archive pages and taxonomy widgets.

The Labels page displays all available labels.

Each label includes:

• Label Name
• Description
• Slug
• Assigned Event Count
• Shortcode
• Edit
• Quick Edit
• Delete
• View

This makes it easy to manage all event labels from one location.

Assigning Labels

Labels can be assigned while creating or editing an event.

An event may have one or multiple labels depending on its status or promotional requirements.

For example:

• Featured + VIP
• Free + Online
• Trending + Early Bird

These labels help visitors quickly identify important event characteristics.

Label Shortcode

Each label automatically generates its own shortcode.

The shortcode can be copied from the Labels listing page and inserted into:

• Pages
• Posts
• Elementor Shortcode Widget
• Custom Templates

This allows label-specific event content to be displayed anywhere on your website.
