Event Files Widget

Overview

The Event Files widget allows you to display downloadable files and attachments associated with the current event. It automatically retrieves all files uploaded to the event and presents them in a clean, organized list with options to view or download each file.

This widget is ideal for providing attendees with important resources such as event brochures, schedules, presentations, tickets, agendas, registration forms, or other supporting documents.

Widget Purpose

The Event Files widget helps you share important event-related documents directly from your Event Single page.

Visitors can:

• View attached files
• Download event documents
• Access schedules and agendas
• Download brochures and presentations
• Retrieve event resources before or after the event

All files are displayed dynamically based on the current event.

Content Settings

Show Title

Enable or disable the heading displayed above the file list.

Options

• Yes
• No

When disabled, only the list of event files is displayed.

Title

Customize the heading shown above the attached files.

Default Value

Event Files

You can change it to any suitable title, such as:

• Downloads
• Event Resources
• Documents
• Event Attachments
• Presentation Files
• Useful Downloads

File Display

The widget automatically displays every file attached to the current event.

Each file includes:

• File Name
• View File Link
• Download Button
• File Icon

Visitors can either open the file in a new browser tab or download it directly to their device.

The Event Files widget supports most common file formats uploaded through the Event Builder event editor, including:

• PDF Documents
• Microsoft Word Documents
• Excel Spreadsheets
• PowerPoint Presentations

The Event Files widget includes styling controls to customize its appearance.

These settings allow you to match the file list with your website’s branding and design.

Dynamic Data

The widget automatically retrieves all uploaded files assigned to the current event.

If multiple files have been added, each file is displayed with:

• File Name
• View Link
• Download Link

If no files are attached to the event, the widget remains hidden on the frontend.
