Overview

The Countdown View Settings section allows you to customize the appearance and behavior of the Event Countdown Timer. This view creates urgency by displaying the remaining time before an event begins, making it ideal for conferences, product launches, webinars, workshops, festivals, and ticket sales.

You can choose different countdown styles, customize colors, define a message to display when the countdown ends, and even automatically redirect visitors to another page after the timer expires.

These settings apply globally to all Countdown View layouts within Event Builder.

The Countdown View provides an attractive visual timer that counts down to the start of an event. It helps increase visitor engagement and encourages timely registrations before an event begins.

The appearance and functionality of the countdown can be fully customized using the settings below.

Countdown Style

Choose the visual style of the countdown timer.

Available Styles

• Circle
• Line
• Plain

Default: Circle

Circle

Displays each countdown unit inside circular progress indicators.

Recommended for:

• Landing Pages
• Modern Websites
• Product Launches
• Premium Events

Line

Displays countdown progress using horizontal line indicators.

Recommended for:

• Business Websites
• Conferences
• Corporate Events
• Minimal Designs

Plain

Displays a simple numeric countdown without graphical elements.

Recommended for:

• Clean Layouts
• Blogs
• News Websites
• Lightweight Designs

End Message

Specify the message displayed when the countdown reaches zero.

Default:

This event has ended.

You can replace this with any custom message, such as:

• Registration Closed
• Event Started
• Thank You for Joining
• Ticket Sales Ended
• Live Now

This message helps inform visitors about the event status once the countdown has finished.

Redirect URL

Specify a page visitors should be redirected to when the countdown expires.

Examples include:

• Event Live Stream
• Event Recording
• Thank You Page
• Registration Closed Page
• Upcoming Events
• Homepage

If no URL is entered, visitors will remain on the current page and only the end message will be displayed.

Wrapper Background

Customize the background color of the outer countdown wrapper.

This affects the entire countdown section, helping it blend seamlessly with your website design.

Main Container Background

Customize the background color of the main countdown container.

This is the primary area that contains the countdown timer and related content.

Choose a background that provides good contrast with the timer elements.

Title Color

Notes

• These settings apply globally to all Countdown View layouts in Event Builder.
• If a Redirect URL is specified, visitors will be automatically redirected after the countdown expires.
• If no Redirect URL is provided, the configured End Message will be displayed instead.
• Hover colors are applied only to interactive buttons.
• Elementor widgets may override these global style settings through their Style controls.
• Changes take effect immediately after saving the settings.
