Overview

The Zozo Location Grid & List widget allows you to display event locations in either a modern Grid or List layout using Elementor. It is designed to help visitors explore venues, conference halls, meeting spaces, cities, or virtual event locations while providing quick access to events hosted at each location.

The widget includes flexible layout options, advanced query filters, responsive design, and customizable display settings, making it ideal for event directories, conference websites, venue listings, and travel or destination event portals.


General Settings

Overview

The General section contains the basic configuration options for the Location widget.


Extra Class

Add one or more custom CSS classes to the widget.

This allows developers to apply custom CSS styling without modifying the plugin files.

Multiple classes can be separated with spaces.


Display Layout

Overview

Choose how location information is displayed on your page.

The widget supports two responsive layouts that automatically adjust for different screen sizes.


Layout Style

Select the preferred layout.

Available Options

Grid View

Displays locations in responsive cards.

This layout is ideal for:

  • Homepage sections
  • Venue showcases
  • Featured locations

List View

Displays locations in a vertical layout with additional information.

This layout is recommended for:

  • Business listings

Query Settings

Overview

The Query section determines which locations appear in the widget.

You can display all locations or create customized listings using filtering and sorting options.


Locations Per Page

Specify the number of location cards displayed.

Example:

Displaying fewer locations improves loading performance, while larger values reduce pagination.


Description Length

Specify how many words should be displayed from each location description.

Short descriptions create compact layouts, while longer descriptions provide more venue information.


Include Locations

Display only selected event locations.

Useful for creating:

  • Popular Locations

Exclude Locations

Hide selected locations from the widget.

This allows you to temporarily remove venues without deleting them.


Order By

Choose how locations should be sorted.

Available options typically include:

  • Location Name

  • Menu Order
  • Random

Order

Choose the display order.

Available options include:

  • Ascending
  • Descending

Ascending displays locations alphabetically or oldest first, while Descending displays the newest locations first.


Displayed Location Information

Overview

Each location card can display detailed venue information.

Depending on your selected layout, displayed information may include:

  • Featured Image
  • Location Name
  • Address
  • City
  • State
  • Country
  • Postal Code
  • Venue Description
  • Contact Number
  • Email Address
  • Website
  • Google Map Link
  • Event Count
  • View Details Button

Location information automatically updates whenever the location profile is modified.


Grid Layout

Overview

The Grid View displays locations in responsive cards arranged across multiple columns.

This layout creates a modern presentation and is ideal for showcasing multiple venues on a single page.

Grid View is recommended for:

List Layout

Overview

The List View displays locations vertically with additional information about each venue.

This layout is recommended for visitors who need more details before viewing events hosted at a specific location.

List View works well for:

Location Details

Overview

Each location profile can contain complete venue information.

Available details may include:

  • Full Address
  • City
  • State or Province
  • Country
  • ZIP or Postal Code
  • Contact Information
  • Website
  • Map Location
  • Available Events

This helps visitors quickly identify where an event is taking place.


Navigation Options

Overview

When displaying many locations, the widget supports multiple browsing methods.

Depending on your configuration, visitors can browse locations using:

  • Pagination
  • Load More Button
  • Infinite Scroll

These options improve both usability and page performance.

  • The Location Grid & List widget displays Location profiles created within Event Builder.
  • Multiple locations can be filtered or excluded simultaneously.
  • Empty filters are ignored automatically.
  • The widget automatically updates whenever location information changes.
  • It is fully responsive and optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
