Introduction

The Event Builder Booking System allows visitors to reserve free or paid event tickets through a modern, user-friendly booking experience. It includes purchaser information, attendee management, coupon support, payment summaries, QR tickets, and an administrator dashboard for managing every booking.

The booking system is fully integrated with the Event Builder plugin and can be enabled individually for each event.


Booking Workflow

The complete booking process follows these steps:

  1. Visitor opens an event.
  2. Clicks Book Tickets.
  3. Selects ticket quantity.
  4. Completes purchaser information.
  5. Adds attendee information.
  6. Applies a coupon (optional).
  7. Reviews the payment summary.
  8. Submits the booking.
  9. Booking is stored in WordPress.
  10. Individual attendee records are created.
  11. QR tickets are generated automatically.
  12. Administrator manages bookings from the dashboard.

Enable Event Booking

Booking can be enabled or disabled for every event individually.

Enable Booking

When enabled:

  • Book Tickets button appears.
  • Booking popup is available.
  • Visitors can purchase tickets.

Disable Booking

When disabled:

  • Booking button is hidden.
  • Visitors see a “Booking Not Available” message.
  • Event remains viewable.

Event Builder supports two booking modes.

Free Booking

Visitors can register without payment.

Paid Booking

Visitors purchase tickets before completing registration.
